Indication of the operation mode
The reclocker module features the following LEDs on its' frontal edge:
- INP A - bicolor, if GREEN - the input signal is detected, if RED - no input signal present
- INP B - bicolor, on the 1-channel reclocker it never lits up
- TX - green, lit when reclocker operates as an Electric-to-Optic converter (optical transmitter)
- RX - green, lit when reclocker operates as an Optic-to-Electric converter (optical receiver)
When both RX and TX are lit - the reclocker operates as an optical transponder/regenerator
Connectors and indicators placement
The optical (LC) and electrical (HD BNC) connectors are located on the rear panel of the rack. The reclocker module indicator LEDs are located on module's frontal edge and are visible through the rack's removable frontal cover.
