General description

PIC-094 MX is a desktop module with the following controls and indicators on it's frontal panel:

• “RS-232” connector for a PC or any RS-232C compliant device
• RS-232C link activity indicator
• OPTION piano switch (reserved for future use)

RS-485 application example

RS-485 bidirectional serial link allows to connect up to fifteen RS-485-compliant nodes, each having unique network address, by the PROFITT's proprietary "PROFITT-M" protocol. The network is fault-tolerant, the disconnection or powerdown of any node does not affect the connectivity between the remaining nodes.
